Sweet relief

Poor Nettie. We took a walk to the meadows this afternoon and got attacked by a neighbor's unleashed dog! Bitten and scuffled and I fell down trying to grab her and was amidst the terrifying scuffle. I saw the  big dog's jaw clamp down on her hind quarters--Mark and the dog's owner were running and the dog's owner pulled his dog off us. I was sure Nettie had been hurt and was afraid to look at where she'd been bitten. But no blood. She was carried home, and she relaxed after about an other half hour of comforting. Asleep in the sun now.
